Pat Gottfried

VICE PRESIDENT OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY | APOLLO GROUP

Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Apollo Group, and Executive Director of the University of Phoenix Foundation, Pat Gottfried’s responsibilities include overseeing the philanthropic strategies and partnerships for Apollo Group and the University of Phoenix Foundation, which in 2011, combined, contributed over $20 million to communities across the United States.
Prior to this role, she served as President and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation (Rocky Mountain Chapter), Senior Director of Collaborative Development for Special Olympics – North America, as well as Chief Development Officer of Special Olympics – Wisconsin.
Ms. Gottfried received her Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University. She currently serves on the board of directors of the National Alliance Health Foundation, Expect More Arizona and Arts Integration Solutions. Prior board service includes St. Anthony’s Hospital, Governor’s College Readiness 21 Task Force and the Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society.
