Anne Smart

DIRECTOR OF ENERGY | SILICON VALLEY LEADERSHIP GROUP

Anne is the Director of Energy for the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Her portfolio at the Leadership Group includes clean energy advocacy, energy efficiency, smart grid and data center efficiency. Anne organizes the Energy Summit, Data Center Efficiency Summit, and the Customer Energy Solutions partnership with Pacific Gas & Electric Company. Prior to joining the Leadership Group, Anne was a policy fellow in the Delaware State Senate, where she developed legislation for the state’s first Energy Efficiency Resource Standard. Anne has also worked for the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy, Resource Renewal Institute, the Arizona Water Resources Research Center, the American Geological Institute and for former U.S. Member of Congress Wayne Gilchrest. Anne has a Master of Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware, and a B.A. in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Environmental Studies from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is also an alum of the New Leaders Council – Silicon Valley Chapter.
